How it works

Sales and success shouldn't have to open Stripe to know if a customer is paying. Leadify subscribes to Stripe's event stream and writes charges, subscriptions, and invoices onto the contact so lifetime value, MRR, and payment health sit right where your team works.

Live payment and subscription sync

Charges, invoices, and subscription changes post to the record as they occur.

  • Successful and failed charges with amounts
  • Active plan, MRR, and renewal date on the record
  • Subscription upgrades, downgrades, and cancels
  • Lifetime value calculated automatically

Dunning triggers

A failed charge starts a recovery flow before the customer churns.

  • Fire on payment_failed and past_due events
  • Automated email or SMS retry reminders
  • Escalate to an owner after N failed attempts
  • Stop the flow the moment payment succeeds

Revenue-aware segmentation

Segment and route contacts by what they pay, not just who they are.

  • Filter by MRR band or lifetime spend
  • Flag expansion and downgrade signals
  • Prioritize outreach to high-value accounts
  • Surface at-risk revenue in dashboards

Where teams use it

Built for real revenue work.

Prevent involuntary churn

When a card fails, Leadify runs a polite retry sequence and pings the account owner if it stays unpaid.

Expansion outreach

Success reps get a task when a customer upgrades or nears a usage tier, turning payment signals into upsell moments.

Renewal readiness

Records show the next renewal date so owners can reach out ahead of time instead of reacting to a cancel.

Our CS team used to ask finance who was behind on payments. Now the record tells them, and the dunning flow catches most failures before anyone has to.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which Stripe events does Leadify listen to?

Payment, invoice, and subscription events including charge success and failure, subscription created, updated, and canceled, and past-due status. You can choose which ones drive flows.

How is a Stripe customer matched to a CRM record?

Leadify matches on the customer's email in Stripe. If no record exists, one is created and enriched with payment data on the spot.

Does it calculate MRR and lifetime value?

Yes. Leadify rolls up active subscriptions into MRR and sums historical successful charges into lifetime value, both shown on the record and available for segmentation.

Can I trigger flows on failed payments only?

Absolutely. Dunning is a common setup: build a flow that starts on a failed charge, sends reminders, and cancels itself once the payment clears.
